Pat has extensive experience and expertise in Probate Law, Capital Taxation and Estate Planning, Family Law and Conveyancing. Pat graduated with an Honours B.A. in History & English from NUI Galway in 1969, obtained a B Sc Degree in Economics from the University of London in 1980 and then graduated with an LLB from University of London, 1990. He was admitted to Roll of Solicitors on 27th July 1994 and worked as a solicitor with Alan Donnelly & Co. in Navan where he was a partner up until June 2010 when Cosgrave Solicitors was established.
Pat has established himself as a leading practitioner in succession planning and advising clients on the tax implications of gifts and inheritances with particular emphasis on the tax efficiency of wills.
